Sublimity Elementary
“Kentucky, also known as the Bluegrass State, is renowned for many beautiful aspects. Our students chose to feature things like the Kentucky Derby, the University of Kentucky’s basketball program, and Cumberland Falls. Our state flower, the Goldenrod, and the state bird, the Cardinal, are seen in several designs. In May, our community was ravaged by a violent tornado, affecting many families. The timing of this invitation is just what we needed to focus on the beauty surrounding us. Our students rose to the occasion and have made Sublimity Elementary proud.” – John A., Teacher

There are many things that make Kentucky beautiful that it’s hard to pinpoint just one thing to represent this state. Kentucky has it all. But it is the beautiful mountains, the rolling hills, the many lakes, lush forests filled with flowers and wildlife, and all the unique geological land formations such as the caves, natural arches, and hidden waterfalls that make our state beautiful.
