Each ornament captures the spirit of the Evergreen State, featuring evergreen trees, mountains, the Willow Goldfinch, Washington’s vibrant state bird, and the Coastal Rhododendron, our beautiful state flower. Students also included the Washington state flag and the Space Needle, Seattle’s world-famous landmark.” – Merisa W., Teacher

I came up with this design because it reminds me of Washington. I got inspired because the Space Needle is in Washington. And first I started with the background. That’s how I made my art.
