Wisconsin
Waller Elementary
“Our enthusiastic 2nd-grade students were so excited to participate. Contributing to a national celebration was something none of them had imagined. We explored Wisconsin’s landscapes, culture, wildlife, seasons, and traditions from the rolling dairy farms and towering pines to cheese curds, cherries, and our beloved badger mascot. Then, each student chose something about Wisconsin that spoke to them personally. The process was entirely student-led, and it was truly an unforgettable learning experience for all of us.” – Anna A., Teacher

First, I did research online about Wisconsin. Then I read some books. I’m going to draw birds that represent Wisconsin. The birds that I am going to draw are the American Robin and Mourning Dove.
