“Our enthusiastic 2nd-grade students were so excited to participate. Contributing to a national celebration was something none of them had imagined. We explored Wisconsin’s landscapes, culture, wildlife, seasons, and traditions from the rolling dairy farms and towering pines to cheese curds, cherries, and our beloved badger mascot. Then, each student chose something about Wisconsin that spoke to them personally.
